Indivisible Baltimore and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will be co-hosting a #NoMuslimBanEver town hall on October 18, the day when the newly revised Muslim Ban 3.0 will go into effect. The town hall, set at the War Memorial in downtown Baltimore, will be the second major town hall organized by Indivisible Baltimore. Several members of Baltimore federal delegation, both Representatives and Senators, have expressed interest in participating in the event.
Speakers will include your Members of Congress, legal experts, as well as individuals personally impacted by the ban. The event will be focused on a panel discussion along with audience Q&A.
UPDATE: Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger (MD-2) will speak on behalf of the Baltimore federal delegation at the #NoMuslimBanEver town hall.
The #NoMuslimBanEver town hall will be held at 6:30pm on October 18, 2017, at the Baltimore War Memorial on 101 N. Gay St., Baltimore, MD. The event is free, but RSVP is required.
