Schedule:

8:55 a.m.:—MARC Train departure from Baltimore’s Penn Station, arriving MARC New Carrollton Station 9:36 a.m.

9:15 a.m.—MARC Train departure from BWI Airport Station 9:15 a.m., arriving MARC New Carrollton Station 9:36 a.m.

11:30 a.m.—Meet at the Group Entrance: Madison Drive & 15th Street to collect timed-entry tickets

11:45 a.m.—Timed Entry: Everyone must have a timed-entry ticket to enter the museum. Late arrivals might possibly be accommodated; however, the museum cannot guarantee it. It usually takes two to four hours to tour the museum.

Transportation:

You have the option to take the MARC train to the New Carrollton station, then switch to the DC Metro subway’s Orange Line for final stop at the Smithsonian on The Mall. From there, it is a short walk across The Mall to the museum. Some folks familiar with navigating this journey will help you along the way, if needed.

You may also choose to drive on your own, carpool to the New Carrollton DC Metro Subway Station (and meet us), or go directly to the museum, but parking could be challenging over the July 4th holiday week.
